Holiday 09 Collection by Boulee

Earlier this week I was fortunate enough to view the Holiday 09 collection by Boulee and what a sparkle feast it was! There was an amazing array of dresses, tops, and skirts that had me anticipating the holiday season and all those fabulous parties to come. A prominent feature was the use of lurex in scalloped details such as on this great little vest top. There is a peplum on the back and the fit is drapey without drowning you in fabric. A favorite of mine had to have been this beautiful boustier mini dress that came in both shiny crinkled patent and cotton sateen. Very D&G sans the hardware. While a lot of the pieces seemed more for the Kate Moss and glitterati crowd, there were definitely some items that anyone could pull off. One such piece was this navy and white blouse with mini floral allover designs that had cutouts on the sleeves and had a very flounced babydoll silhouette. Cutesy style with edgy details. The colors were also an eye-catcher with shades of emerald, purple, navy, gold, and the ever prominent black. Boulee has me thirsty for more and I can’t wait for these items to hit stores!
