Where Have I Seen You Before: Stella

Stella McCartney has undoubtedly become one of my top 5 designers over the last few years.  Her clothes are body concious and beautiful with an edge and the color pallettes are always flattering.  Lately, though, I have been totally enamored with her shoes.  One in particular is this fun mesh peep-toe sandal.  They dont take themselves too seriously and I can see them paired with anything from minidresses to skinnys to shorts.  The only downside?  The price, of course.  So to solve that dilemma I've found a great brazee lattice heel by Free People that is significantly friendlier to your wallet and still has that same effect Stella's has without being a blatant knockoff.  So have fun with your footwear inspired by the greats, just so long as its not a direct copy.  Love!

FredFlare Wants To Give You Music

I am a lover of all kinds of music from rock to reggae to jazz to pop to *some country… you get the idea.  So the chance to get to open my ears to artists I’ve never heard of before is pretty much “music to my ears”.  Fred Flare (one of my favorite online retailers) has come up with a great little diddy for their readers/customers.  They have made a mix CD and started a global CD swap where anyone can send in a mix CD of their own and in return get the FF mix as well as a random mix from someone anywhere in the world (but most likely from the US).  What I love about this is the chance to fall in love with a new artist or even genre.  Besides, everyone has a favorite song or two that they’d love to share so why not spread the love?  Check out their blog for more details and let the swap begin!

My Must-Have Purse of the Moment

I have totally fallen in love with this kick ass studded purse by Tarah Smith.  The Tough Cookie Tote comes with a perfect little studded clutch for all of your neccessities.  Originally I found this bag when shopping at Intuition and was so enamored that I had to find out what other designs there are in the collection.  I am speechless.  The attention to detail is insane and every bag is so unique and gorgeous that you want to covet every piece!  Here are a few of my faves that I think you'll adore.

Juicy Couture: Do the Dont's 2009 Campaign

I always love the ad campaigns Juicy comes up with because they're so pink and pretty with a little edge.  This newest campaign is just that with some humor and hunks thrown in for good measure.  I love how they "break the rules" while looking utterly chic at the same time.
